For anyone who has read ‘The Four Loves’ by C.S.Lewis,
do you remember a part where he writes something to the effect of not being able to enjoy a relationship and analyze it at the same time?
For instance, I went to close the window because it was getting cold here in the studio and the delight in the feeling of the cold air on my hand immediately caused a realization of how splendid that moment was, so I naturally thought of the contributing factors. But thinking of why kind of ruins it at the same time because then I am no longer enjoying it, but analyzing it.
And then I thought I remembered Lewis writing something about that.
Which sounds a bit like quantum theory. Kind of. Which is why I want someone to tell me what that part was in the book, since I do not have the book with me at school.
