Saddam Hussein was convicted of killing 148 people who were detained after an attempt to assassinate him, and he is to be hanged by tomorrow.
Since he was ousted, between 50,060 and 57,628 Iraqi citizens have been killed in fighting as of December 2nd based on information from iraqbodycount.org.
That count does not include the foreign soldiers, including about 3,000 American soldiers who have died.
So every three days or so the same amount of Iraqi citizens are killed as Hussein was convicted of killing,
and Hussein is the one being hanged.
