David, the kind lad chatting with me from the Apple website tells me the MacBook Pro is far superior to the Mini in many ways.
This is what David told me:
First, the processor is quite a bit more powerful. Second, the MacBook Pro has a dedicated graphics card which the Mac mini does not have. The third reason is obvious : the MacBook Pro offers unparalleled portability for a computer of such power.
I am not so concerned about portability. I would prefer a 20″ screen to a 15″ and eliminate the portability.
So I am looking at either a Mini, MacBook Pro, or an iMac. The Power Mac is just too much for me.
David told me the MacBook Pro has a better graphics card than the iMac also.
So to those who have an opinion, any suggestions?
Ok, it looks like I can get a pretty good iMac for cheaper than a decent MacBook Pro. Is there any other way the MacBook Pro is superior I should know of?
Is Aperture useful for non-digital photographers?
What a luxury to chose from such options.
(I think David was not a real person.)
