I am planning on being in the Elgin area the week leading up to Mike and Jen’s wedding, but I will need a place to stay. Does anyone have extra space that I might occupy?
Hey, you know those cool standard, white, iPod earphones? Does anyone have an extra pair that I may have/borrow/purchase?
On Thursday night I got to play another show with Andy and the Pandy’s.
And it was great.
It was at Magdalena’s Tea House in East Lansing. Magdalena is the owner’s five year old daughter.
5 years old. Over-sized, hand-me-down, butterfly dress. Bare foot. Thin, long blonde hair. An adorable voice. Homeschooled. And she drew me pictures of faeries, rainbows, and fireworks with crayons. I hope my DNA has the promise of someone like Magdalena.
The girl that played first was Allie Fancher.
She was not ground breaking or anything.
Just increadibly delightful.
Especially with her friend Allie playing violin and singing back up.
The whole evening was increadibly delightful.
A delightful tea house.
Playing music with Andy, Keith, and Kurt could be nothing less than delightful.
And I doubt Allie Fancher has ever been not delightful.
