It seems the luxury of the couches within these walls has become a
curse, as no inhabitant of this room is able to remain awake and
productive while perched upon one.
If you live in Volkman, or if your girlfriend/boyfriend lives in
Volkman, do us all a favor and keep making out and private moments to
locations far from balconies and stairwells. Grow up and learn some
reservation. It’s quite rude.
Honestly, it is discouraging to read of revolutionary people who had
the time to be revolutionary because they came from a wealthy family
and weren’t restricted by day to day obligations of the working class.
Of course there are people who have come from the bottom, but it seems
like over and over, I read about revolutionary people who were able to
explore life and it’s possibilities because they had no burden of
If I had that same comfort, would I not just be lazy? I think this last
summer showed me how lazy I can be when there is wealth accompanied
with free time.

Not that I had time, but I read an article about Prince Charles and his
coming official tour of the US and what he intends to do to help
mankind. “I find myself born into this particular position. I am
determined to make the most of it.” Although I am cetainly not born
into his particular position, I have been born into my particular
position, and I suppose I should make the most of it.
It’s a struggle for this to remain enjoyable.
