Bonjour! Je m’appelle Maurice Gustave-Henri Coté. Je suis Américain. Je suis de Washington. Ça va bien! Et toi?
What a great start to the morning. I woke up at Ben and Lisa’s after a fun night of too much Risky Business and practice and pictures. I showered and waited for Jillian and Alyson. They arrived and made pancakes! I wasn’t much help this morning, being a bit more tired than usual. The pancakes were quite delicious though. And then I got another Français leçon. I’ll make no reserve in saying the French are superior to all man kind, but this some of this language is so illogical. And I feel so foolish trying to say things ‘French,’ ’cause it isn’t always like the typical ‘French’ accent. Regardless, learning French from two lovely ladies is always a pleasure.
From there I drove to Fairlane Towncenter Mall and met the newly Kelly Hile, who decided she liked John’s last name more than ‘Maitland’ so much that she married him for it. Perhaps there were other factors too. We had Koney Island for lunch. The food was alright, but good conversation. This is the first time we’ve had lunch since she’s been married. It’ll already be two weeks! on sunday. They grow up fast. It was nice to hear about her and John and married life and her job and life. I’m so happy for her.
I just found out I get the New York Times and Wallstreet Journal and Detroit Auto Scene for free at work!
On the cover of said New York Times, there is a photo of the moment of silence observed yesterday in London. A moment of silence and consideration and thought of the events and those that perished, not photographing. Photographers, show some respect.
And Jen has a xanga now! How cool is that?
Looking at my pay stub, I think I have a 401k here. Rock on. Tithe from first fruits, right? So tithe based on amount before taxes?
One of Sean’s friends made this up, it’s funny, and good to live by: There’s ‘car’ in Bacardi, but there shouldn’t be Bacardi in the car.
What happened to Brandon?
