I just nearly finished a long entry on my life since Friday. Now it’s gone. It was quite unenthusiastic because I am exhausted, but I miss it. I guess I’ll list.
Cottage with uncle Jeff and Alex because dad suddenly decided to work on the house.
On the way Alex points out cows, I unfortunately notice a bull mount a heifer; I hope Alex didn’t see that. He’s only 4.
Got up and did something.
Helped pick out colours for grandkids room with Lindsay, Taylor and Mickenzie.
Went into Lexington and bought $3 dollars of penny candy.
Helped Jon and Jen put together a new futon.
Grandma made split pea soup for dinner; went to A&W with Jon and Jen after one bowl of soup to appease Grandma.
Mum, dad, I went to Gary and Yvonne’s Saturday night. Then to Kara and Steve and Brian and Trish’s cottage. We played spoons. Fantastic game. Brian and Megan broke a chair attempting to get a spoon.
Sunday hung around the cottage.
Went to the beach.
Went in water for a very short while because it was cold.
Walked back up to Gary and Yvonne’s, then back down to the beach with Megan, Jamie, Jacob, Mikaelyn, Eliisa and other random Boelstlers.
Stayed in the water a little longer. Lake Huron in May isn’t tolerable very long. Global warming helps that situation.
Rescued Garret’s bird when it flew two beaches down. It isn’t supposed to fly, it’s a pet parakeet.
It bit me.
Jon and I went to the driving range.
Most of the rest of the family came and we miniature golfed.
I sucked even more.
I walked to Gary and Yvonne’s for a bon fire. Most of the Boelster’s had left. Ian, Tony, Eliisa, and Katie were watching the Pistons game.
One of the worst 4th quarters I’ve seen the Pistons play.
Walked to Katie’s cottage with Ian and Katie, then on to mine alone.
Monday got up early and hit the links with Jon, David and Tony. They’ve paid lots of money for golf. Tony spoke of a course one round is $175. I think I paid $15 at that place by school. Maybe less. They remember most of the courses they’ve played.
I’ve only played one and I don’t remember it.
I sucked pretty bad.
It was my first round of 18 ever, so it was kind of ok I hit 157. Ha. On a course with a par of 70.
I hit the ball 157 times. That’s 8.722222…… per hole. Twice par, plus 17 more. That’s horrible.
I am ok with doing poorly since I am new, but I made the same mistake the entire time.
Hole 18 was my best. Not my lowest, but best hit. Would have been better but it took me two to get out of the bunker.
I chipped in the first hole. I did mostly 2 and 3 putts the rest of the time.
I decided it would be a good idea to walk.
It was a good decision financially because I haven’t gotten paid yet.
I can still feel the decision in my calfs.
We got back and Craig and Diane and family had left.
Then Jeff and the kids.
Then Jen and Jon.
Dad wanted to leave, so instead I went to the beach. It really bothered me he’d rather leave to work on the house and stay at the cottage. So mum and I went to the beach and he was obliged to follow.
I feel like an unnecessarily rebelious 13 year old, but they just annoy me.
At the beach there is a creek.
It started going along the beach so I decided I would attempt to re-route it.
I didn’t succeed when I had left.
But a boy who was probably between 7 and 11 helped. I knew not him and he not me, but kids can play together better than adults.
He wasn’t always the best help, but he was a hard worker.
We didn’t speak at all because work was more important than talk.
He did compliment my work though.
Then I went in the water a little bit.
It felt great.
As we were walking up, Ian, Eliisa and Tony were walking down.
So I stayed and swam with them for a bit.
The water and the air were warmer than Sunday.
Then we walked back up, and Ian drove me back to my cottage.
I didn’t see much of Ian.
That makes me sad.
Then mum, dad, Grandma and I had dinner.
Great ribs that were left-overs.
I can’t imagine how good they would be fresh.
Came home and returned a message from Carley.
Packed my stuff.
Got to the Vrazo’s for a fire.
Sean and Bob came.
Ben and Lisa came too.
We had fun.
Then Carley left.
We still had fun.
Then Ben and Lisa and Sean and Bob left.
We still had fun.
Then Jillian went to bed.
We still had fun.
It was only Alyson and myself at this point.
We enjoy outdoors and commaradarie too much to pansy out so early.
Then we went inside and went to bed.
I woke up Tuesday slowly.
Stared at various things throughout the Vrazo house.
Jillian got ready for work.
Alyson did homework.
I eventually ate and cleansed.
Then I had to leave for work.
I like work, but even more I like waking up on a beautiful day in the company of friends.
Alyson took great care of me.
Work was slow.
Just learned the usual a little better.
Left in time to hear the end of the first quarter of the Pistons game on the radio.
Got to Ben and Lisa’s in time to watch the rest of the game.
Ben, Joel and I practiced.
Playing music is good for me.
I didn’t play well though.
Jillian and Alyson stopped over.
Lisa came home.
We practiced and socialized more.
Jillian went home.
Lisa went to bed.
We practiced more.
Joel went home.
I took Alyson home.
I went back to Ben and Lisa’s.
I lied awake on the couch trying to sleep while people yelled in the streets at 2 am.
They never fought. Sissys.
They just told eachother very loudly how angry they were at each other and how much they wanted to fight the other person.
The cops were there, but they left.
Good job authority.
Way to serve and protect.
They were right by Ben’s car.
Someone sat on Lisa’s car.
Then they left.
Then I slept.
I woke up this morning to Sigur Rós ( ).
Do it if you’ve never before.
I arrived at the Vrazo’s for a short bit.
I am glad Ben and Lisa still live close to there.
I will abuse it while I can.
I played with Gwendolyn and Jaden and Alyson.
We threw helicopter seeds in the air.
Gwendolyn got her Batman cape her mum made for the older Vrazo kids.
Just as we began looking for the Robin cape for me, it was time to go.
Another beautiful day begun with friends and then going to work.
At least work is good.
On the way, NPR played the whole Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album because it is the 38th anniversary of it’s release.
With NPR public radio, and CBC Canadian radio, I have no desire to listen to anything else through the antenna.
Work was increaaaaaaaaadibly slow.
I used up free time on Adobe products and passed the time quickly.
When work is slow I can work a full 8 hours and eat during free time and take no breaks.
That is good for getting more money.
I came home for the first time since Monday.
Parents were annoying from the moment I walked in the door.
That annoys me.
Because I changed, not them.
I hate that I find them annoying.
