The Pistons won, quite easily. Game wasn’t too exciting though.
I watched it at Carley’s, Jillian and Alyson were there too. They’re neat.
On my return I saw the cat in the road next to the house, but it got out of the way before I realized it was my parents.
I made an observation at Carley’s that I made near the end of school. Before I got home tonight I realized how it was wrong, at least partially. I have a lot of female friends, and on occasion I am the only guy in the conversation, and it seems like I’ve been in more conversations with girls discussing a guys looks compared to the the conversations with guys discussing a girls looks. Although that does seem to be true, and girls seem to go into more specifics, but I’ve very very rarely had a guy friend comment on a girls butt or breasts. Besides Javier I suppose. But he’s Puerto Rican. But the error I found in my observation is that I think it is just far more common place for a guy to mention something. Though it seems to be mostly comments rather than conversations, I can think of far more instances of mention by guy friends and myself.
Either way, none of it seems necessary. I attempt to make no mention, but I’m not sure how well I do. I try to avoid it when possible. It all just seems vain. And I think the people I admire the most are the people who make no mention of such things, or if they do, it is with the most respect possible. That’s how I want to be. I want to be the kind of person that actually doesn’t concern themselves with looks.
It’s really neat that theatre performance calendars are on break nearly all of summer break.
I stopped at Wade’s earlier in the day too. It would have been a great day to work; Jeff, Colleen, Jake, and Jason. I even swept I missed it so much. I hadn’t talked to Colleen since first semester. She actually made some friends at MSU this semester.
When I see ‘college’ people on t.v., and think of college seniors, I am not what I think of.
