I want someone to invent a whitendectomy so I can get one.
I got to talk science with Melanie tonight, and architecture with Paul. And I learned part of the JSO chapel for Monday.
So I was walking back from the chapel this evening, and I stopped because there were three deer infront of me, and they didn’t even see me! And then I looked to my right and there was a rabbit like ten feet away from me that didn’t even see me! And it was snowing and beautiful! And not even cold!
This was in the March 2005 issue of Scientific American, and I thought it was humorous:
“Nineteenth-century English social scientist Herbert Spencer made this precient observation: ‘Those who cavalierly regect the Theory of Evolution, as not adequately supported by facts, seem quite to forget that their own theory is supported by no facts at all.'”
It’s only a one page article called ‘The Fossil Fallacy.’ Read it if you have the opportunity.
