Today was the schedule of schedules. The schedule dreams are made of. Jake and Colleen worked 9-5; Jeff, Jason and I worked 12-8. No adults. Sue came in for a while, but she is cool, and Jeff’s mom. It was quite fun. And Erin stopped in around 7, until we closed. I really couldn’t ask for anyone else to work with than who I worked with today.
There is a band. They are called The Mercury Program. www.mercuryprogram.com Do you know what makes them better than almost every other band? I’ll tell you. There are 4 people in the band; 4 of them can play vibraphone. And do.
Tom Reno – Guitar, Vibraphone
Sander Travisano – Bass Guitar
Dave Lebleu – Drums, Vibraphone, Computer
Whit Travisano – Rhodes, Vibraphone
That definately makes for a phenominal band. Andy found them. Sean burned me their CD ‘A Data Learn The Language’. Sean and Andy made me very happy. They played at the Fireside Bowl last October, too bad I didn’t know about them then. I’d love to see this band play. Though listening to them loud on the stereo is quite fulfilling in the mean time. 47 minutes and 12 seconds of musical bliss.
“A state-run primary school in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh resorted to stirring spirits and marijuana into the school lunch to keep meals tasty(AFP/File/Oka Budhi) ” That’s uh.. funny.
My dad pretty much just told me he is trading in the Dakota for an F-150. There are nearly tears in my eyes. That would eradicate all Dodge vehicles from our house. I really wish Ford would die.
