I had another cool dream last night, this one was a bit simpler though, and possibly more able to be applied to my life. I was in Ryan Lawrence’s room and either he or someone else was reading the Bible, I don’t remember where in the Bible, but I think it was one of the Gospels, or at least something in the New Testament. When the reader finished reading, I was soo happy. It was the best story I had ever heard in my life. It was the feeling one gets when they are going to see, or have just seen his or her favorite movie. It was also specifically the New Oxford Annotated version, and I just had to get my own.
I think this dream has a lot more potential for being applied to my life than the James Bond like dream. I’ve never really been an avid Bible reader because I never really found anything of much interest in it. I never seemed to find anything I hadn’t already read somewhere else-like a catachism book-or had already heard in a sermon or something. I always gain a lot more from reading what other people have to say about the Bible and how to apply it to my life. So my intent now is to read the Bible a bit more often, particularily the NOA version because that was the one in my dream.
If this world were Seancentric-Sean centered, as in me-everytime I walked into a room in my white suit, smoke would come through the doors with bright white lights behind me, and The Final Countdown would be playing. If you don’t know that song, find it. FIF did a small cover of the music of it on the first live album. Also, the world would occasionally go into slow motion, and The Final Countdown would be playing as I walked somewhere or was driving all cool like down the road or did something important.
