somethings gonna suck really soon. things are sooo great right now and have been since i went home. the mae concert was phenominal. their cd is no justice to how good they are. im still partial to sky’s the limit, but mae is quite good in their own right. and they are touring with copeland in january so that will be amazing. i better not miss that show. hanging out with brandon michael andy and matt was a grand time also. the drive there and back was fun, the time spent eating pizza at brandons house that brandon couldnt eat was fun, and hanging out at the show was fun. it was never not fun with them. and not only that, but i saw a girl i went to the philippines with four years ago and she goes to olivette(where the show was). we talked for a while and exchanged information and stuff. it was soo neat. i hadnt talked to her in so long, or anyone from that mission trip. it was super neat. it was sooo awesome to see her. and i called brittany last night. i left a message and she hasnt called back yet, but i havent been here anyway. im glad i at least called to leave a message. even though her voice mail message was, ‘hey its brittany’, just to hear that much of her voice was refreshing. i miss her. i hope she is doing well. i hate being annoying. so i dont want to call and have her feel obliged(english speaking french people seem to use that word more than americans. delphine used it, and the quebecian kid and his american cousins i nannied during the summer used it instead of ‘have to’) to call even though she doesnt want to. maybe thats why she hasnt called. maybe she is dead.
so the operation is really good. they remind me slightly of sky’s the limit. simple but complex. simply complex? if that makes sense. and the lyrics are a little similar in content too it seemed. though i dont know the operations lyrics quite as well as i know sky’s the limits.
i have a lot of work to do, maybe that is what is supposed to suck and ruin this good streak. its not working yet.
i finally got a picture to load! though its one from a website, not my own. too bad. tis a great picture, eh? its an old emo band called still life. the photographer is scott bilby. i suggest going to his website http://www.antenna-media.com/punkshow/title.htm and check out his pictures.
